Delivery check

At delivery they record short live videos of the address, the vehicle and themselves, and we check the plate, the face and the location against the delivery address.
What it proves
A driving licence we already hold for them is reused; otherwise they photograph their licence during the check.
When you use it
Collection and home delivery
A live check that the customer is with the car, and its plate, at the forecourt or their home, when it’s handed over.
The customer’s part
You press Send. The customer gets a text with a link.

Questions
Can the dealer do the handover check?
No. The link goes to the customer, not the dealer.
What does the customer need?
A phone with a camera, location switched on, and its own browser. If they open the link inside a social app, some in-app browsers cannot ask for location — the screen tells them to reopen it in Safari or Chrome.
Does the customer need an app?
No. A text with a link, and a browser.
