Questions

Can the dealer do the handover check?

No. The link goes to the customer, not the dealer.

Will the extra step lose me customers?

It's about 70 seconds, at the point they're waiting for their car. Asked at the right moment, with a clear reason, customers do it.

What does the customer need?

A phone with a camera, location switched on, and its own browser. If they open the link inside a social app, some in-app browsers cannot ask for location — the screen tells them to reopen it in Safari or Chrome.

Does the customer need an app?

No. A text with a link, and a browser.
